I’m a photographer based in Shonan, Japan, where I live in a peaceful coastal town surrounded by the sea and mountains.
I’m drawn to natural light, the atmosphere of a place, and the fleeting moments that reveal something unique about each person. Through my photography, I hope to preserve these small, often unspoken stories.
Before becoming a freelance photographer, I spent nine years working as a photojournalist for a news organization, covering major international events including the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the FIFA World Cup.
My experience photographing people and events across a wide range of fields — from society and culture to sports and politics — has shaped the way I see and approach photography today.
I currently work in public relations while continuing my photography practice, specializing in family portraits, personal portraits, events, and corporate branding photography.
Drawing on my experience as a photojournalist, I strive to capture genuine moments with care and attention.
My hope is to create photographs that, years from now, bring back not only how a moment looked, but also how it felt.
